from Salalah (with heat and humidity...)

These two photos were at night with a very dim light but thanks to a "pause B" shot (and a stable hand of mine) the outcome was pretty good... I like the deserted bike with the road sign...

...and the two guys contemplating the horizon.

Camel on the road walking on the white stripes...

Same camel saying cheese to the camera...

A nice lonely historical/religious monument (more like a "makam") on the road to nowhere that even locals knew nothing about...

exotic fruits at the side of the road. They have papays, bananas and coconuts to name few. It was the first time I see green coconuts (before they harden and become wooden and strawy)

an arabic sitting area at the entrance of the hotel. There were some british soldiers (yes, there are still some british bases in Oman) who enjoyed taking a nap one time in this spot.

look close you will notice two black birds wandering around the outside area of the hotel and picking crumbs of food

walla I try what I can ya taha..

I felt there very weird, I really didnt know what to make out of it... the place is very interesting come to think about it, but I couldnt blend with it well.. is it because I went there on business -something I hated and didnt want to in the first place- or is it the different expectations, or is it not knowing what to expect.. I dont know..
I guess if I had more freedom and facilities in moving and exploring and more time to adapt to the weather and environement it would have been more clear -and more delightful.

But definitely it's different from Dubai, more genuine in many aspects though much more rural.
