الرياض ـ يو بي آي: هاجم رجل الدين السعودي محمد المنجّد الفئران بضراوة داعيا إلى قتلها في الحل والحرم بوصفها ممقوتة في الشريعة الإسلامية وهي من جنود إبليس.  وحذر المنجّد الأطفال من الإعجاب بشخصيات الفئران التي اشتهرت عبر الأفلام الكرتونية أمثال ميكي ماوس، وجيري.  وقال في حديث لتلفزيون 'المجد' السعودي 'الفئران تلك الكائنات الممقوتة صارت عند الأطفال حاجة عظيمة ومحبوبة... يعني ميكي ماوس هذا شخصية عظيمة مع أن مكي ماوس هذا شرعا يٌقتل في الحل والحرم'. وقال المنجد في حديثه الذي نشره موقع 'الوفاق ' الالكتروني يوم الثلاثاء'الشريعة الإسلامية سمت الفأر بالفويسقة وأنه يقتل في الحل والحرم وأنها تضرم على أهل البيت النار وأن الشيطان يسّير هذه الفأرة وأنها من جنود إبليس'.  وأضاف 'الفأر في الشريعة الإسلامية شيء ممقوت، كائن مفسد'. ممقوت ويجب قتله في الحل والحرم

White Powder

Early this afternoon there was a safety and security incident on the 12th floor of Jorgenson Hall that has now been resolved.  There is no cause for concern on campus, or for members of the Ryerson community.

When a threatening letter containing an unknown powder was received on the 12th floor, Ryerson's emergency management team immediately contacted the Toronto police and standard safety and security procedures were implemented.  The 12th floor of Jorgenson Hall was evacuated while police investigated and the powder was tested.

A few staff on the 12th floor who were exposed to the powder were quarantined in the lobby of Jorgenson Hall.  Access to the doors of 380 Victoria St. was blocked for a short period of time.

Police and Ryerson security have now given the all-clear, as testing has indicated the powder is benign.  The 12th floor and the doors at 380 Victoria St. have been reopened.

We thank the Ryerson community for their co-operation during this incident.
